Led Zeppelin And David Beckham Donate Items To Celebrity Charity Auction

Written by Tim Saunders

An acoustic guitar signed by members of 1970s rock legends Led Zeppelin is to go under the hammer in a very special celebrity charity auction.

The guitar – signed by Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones – is to be sold as part of the Sod Cancer eBay Auction, starting on April 21.

Also up for auction will be a personalized shirt from David Beckham and signed Doctor Who DVDs.

Sod Cancer is a very special organization in the UK set up in the memory of Jerome O’Donohoe, a TV and film sound editor who died last year from a rare and aggressive cancer called angiosarcoma. The organization raises money for the Institute of Cancer (ICR), one of the world’s foremost independent cancer research organisations.

Proceeds from the auction will go to the ICR to assist its mission to relieve human suffering by pursuing excellence in the fight against cancer.
