2011 NBA Mock Draft Says Washington Wizards Take Klay Thompson At No. 18 in NBA Draft
Klay Thompson could make a charge as the best shooter in this class alongside Jimmer Fredette and should be a top 20 pick because of it.
At 6'6", Thompson has good length and can simply shoot lights out at times.
He's a great athlete and will have trouble keeping up with quicker players, but his ability as a shooter overshadows all of this.

The Wizards could lose Nick Young in free agency and need another shooter anyway.
After adding Kawhi Leonard, an athletic, defensive forward with a developing shot and good slashing ability, Thompson fits great.
A core of John Wall, Leonard and Thompson could certainly bring back some wins to Washington in their new uniforms.
