UFC 131 Results: Dave Herman Too Much to Handle for John-Olav Einemo

UFC 131 Results Prove Dave Herman Is A Better Fighter Than John-Olav Einemo

Dave Herman landed punch after punch in his defeat of John-Olav Einemo in their heavyweight fight last night.

Both fighters were making their UFC debuts and Herman proved he could become a competitor at the heavyweight level.  After the match, Herman had the following to say about the fight,

I wanted to keep it on my feet against a world-class submission artist. I've been working on my conditioning at Team Quest because that's been an issue for me in the past. Once I started hitting him with big shots, I knew I could finish him.

Herman is an extremely athletic fighter who used that athleticism to his advantage throughout the fight, as he was just too quick for Einemo.

The referee stopped the fight halfway into the second round after Herman knocked Einemo to the ground and pummeled him from above.  The outcome of the fight was never in question as Herman was in full control from the beginning.

In Herman's first Pay-Per-View event he proved that he belongs and we could be seeing much more of Dave Herman in the future.
