Brian Urlacher Makes Bold Statement That Chicago Bears Are Better Than Green Bay Packers
Brian Urlacher isn't timid about speaking his mind.
Even when his statement has some obvious statements to prove him wrong.
In a recent stop at an Alberquerque elementary the leader of the Bears defense had some interesting comments regarding who the best team was in the NFC North.
ProFootballTalk.com quoted Urlacher:
I think we?re the best team in our conference. ?I know we?re not the Super Bowl champs like the Green Bay Packers. We want to be the best in our conference and to be there, we?ve got to go through Green Bay
So, a little back-off at the end of his comment, but actually, I respect the display of confidence.
Still, Urlacher probably should have chosen slightly different words.

The NFC Championship game was a very unusual one with the whole Jay Cutler fiasco. If I'm on the Bears or am a Bears fan, I'm glad the face of the franchise came out and made this bold statement.
Chicago's defense can stick with the high-powered Packers, but they'll need to add more weapons and become more efficient on offense. They'll also need more consistent efforts from Cutler, who can be more night-and-day than any quarterback in the NFL.
Urlacher finished by saying he's been working out, is in great shape, and the only difference this offseason is that he's been away from the Bears' facility more than usual.
