The USPS is downsizing and there's a decent chance it's going to suck for you. Today the Postal Service announced that it's considering shutting down 3,700 post offices around the country and 34 of them are in New York City. The borough breakdown looks like this: The Bronx, 17; Manhattan, 6; Brooklyn and Queens, 5; and Staten Island 1. The closures are expected to save the USPS millions while also making the experience of going to the post office equal to getting hit by a bus. [NBC New York]
