Newark, or hell?
Maybe you use that as a coping mechanism on other days too, but apparently there is actual evidence that Newark is typically hotter than the rest of the region during heat waves like this one. Perhaps that's cold comfort while you're trying to simultaneously hold your nose and wipe your sweat on the subway today, but hey, anything cold is nice right now. [NYT]
