Gus Johnson Band Video: Watch Commentator Make Fun of Oklahoma's Tuba Players

Oklahoma isn't going to make it to the BCS Title Game, but their band isn't letting their disappointing season get them down.

These band members stole the show by getting down and partying it up during the Sooners' blowout win over Iowa State.

It was hard to tell what they were really going for, but these guys march to the beat of their own drummer (no pun intended) and showed off some moves they can truly their own.

As they broke out a dance that put their lack of rhythm and shame on full display, Gus Johnson couldn't help but weigh in on the action.

He, like the audience at home, pointed out how very odd the dancing taking place was, calling them "different."

Different indeed, but kudos to these guys for not caring about public perception. Whether or not these guys would have had the confidence to cut loose like this if they knew they were on camera is unclear, but their confidence is refreshing.

We all tuned into the game thinking we were watching Iowa State try to work some magic and pull off another shocking upset, but the real storyline of this game is clearly the OU band and the impromptu dance-off that ensued in the middle of their rout over the cyclones.

They are really helping the term "band nerd" ditch it's negative connotation.
