A Las Vegas TSA agent confiscated Rebecca Hains's red velvet cupcake on Wednesday. According to the agent, the frosting violated TSA restrictions on bringing liquids and gels onto planes. So for all you traveling this weekend, don't worry too much about the weed in your bag, but remember to leave your cupcakes at home.
Now, to be fair, even according to Hains the agent didn't actually believe that this cupcake's icing was potentially an explosive; it was more one of those exasperating, stickler-for-rules sort of thing. If gel is not allowed, it's never allowed — the deliciousness of the weapon is irrelevant.
Or maybe he was just hungry.
